Echo International Aid has assisted Kalbarri following the recent devastating cyclone. The community is slowly getting back to normal but will take a bit longer still.

The Old Bastards of Carnarvon have been collecting cans for several years in its efforts to raise funds for the Royal Flying Doctor Service, St.John Ambulance Carnarvon and other local charities. Old Bastard members, who are all volunteers, spend tireless hours collecting, sorting and crushing cans and preparing numerous wool bale bags full of aluminium for collection and transportation to Perth. Over 23 tonnes of recyclable waste has been kept out of Carnarvon’s landfill thanks to the efforts of the Old Bastards.

Carnarvon AOOB group continue to win yearly awards for the Most Money Raised by an Interested Group - congratulations to all concerned.
