​Northern Rivers Branch held another successful fundraiser at the Ballina Jockey Club in support of local charities

A new hospital wing at the Children's Hospital at
Westmead has a Donor recognition wall with tiles listing
the name of the donor organisation.

The Centre for Kidney Research and the Leo Bradshaw Laboratory

The Centre for Kidney Research and the Leo Bradshaw Laboratory are part of a national effort to diagnose rare kidney disease in children, called KidGen. 

In studies of patient kidney disease they are using fluorescent bacteria to study kidney injury from infection.  Below is a picture of an agar plate using the bacteria to spell out  AOOB!!
