The tradition continues at the Royal Hotel in the Beergarden - we aim for weekly Saturday Bar-b-que's depending on volunteer numbers - but meat tray raffles prove to be a successful fundraising activity - and the newly introduced seafood raffle is a winner!!
We would like to thank the Royal Hotel for their continued support of the Old Bastards. We are honoured to receive the 'Volunteer of the Year Award for 2024 for Springwood and we have been presented with a Certificate from Trish Doyle, State Member and Susan Templeman, Federal Minister. A photo of the Award is shown in the Photo Gallery Section.

Twin Towns
President, Evelyn Rigney (07) 55998283) will give visitors and new members a warm welcome the AOOB’s Twin Towns Branch who meet on the first Friday of each month at the South Tweed Sports Club at 2pm (DST when applicable) with interesting guest speakers. We continue to support local charities and thank all our members for their fantastic support. Our monthly bus trips are also very popular.
